Of course we are in the Mediterranean but where?
Cyprus is situated in the North East corner of the Mediterranean and is South of Turkey and West of Syria. Cyprus is approx 0.6 times the size of Connecticut and is the third largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily and Sardinia.
The Terrain has a central plain with mountains to North and South
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is approx 1 third of the island of Cyprus
A smallish country, approximately 120 miles from east to west. Small is beautiful, so they say and when it comes to North Cyprus it is not only beautiful but also well located in the Mediterranean, you could say on the crossroads to Europe, Asia and Africa. Cyprus has been throughout its history, used by travellers on their various journeys. For me personally my travels have come to an end as I now know just where I want to be and that can only by North Cyprus.
