BRT (Bayrak) North Cyprus' radio and television station broadcasts daily in Turkish, English and Greek from Nicosia. The programme content is a mixture of news, current affairs, music, movies and documentaries.
There are several English language newspapers, the weekly Cyprus Today and daily Cyprus Times.
You can purchase a range of the major European daily newspapers and magazines at most supermarkets and general stores although these will be more expensive than they would in the UK.
Digital TV is also available and the most popular is Digiturk. Digiturk has various News Channels which include BBC World and Euro News plus many Sports Channels and of course BBC Prime showing up to date and repeats of popular programmes so there no need to miss out on Eastenders should that be your choice.
